Six degree's of seperation from who or What?

     Have you ever played Six degree's of separation from Kevin Bacon ?  Well I have and I get kind of close only because I have met some famous musicians and actors.  I classify meeting someone as speaking with them for more than 5 minutes.  Anyways the post I am linking below talks about Six Degrees of Separation from you to either coast of your country.  With me being in the Midwest I am pretty much in the middle of things.  But I personally can get to Florida, New York and California in one hop.  All of this because of Social Media and how it has really made the world a little smaller.

Failure, depends on how you see it.

     On Friday I was at a club supporting a friend of mine morally, not necessarily financially.  This Friend of mine does great Dark Art and the stuff that falls out of his head is unbelievable.  One of the side things he does is helps this heavy metal band around this country being the driver, roadie, and selling T-shirts for the Band.  He was telling me a story how he told these guys in The band that they were going no where.  They brushed the big time once with opening for Marilyn Manson, but nothing after that.  All the gigs after that were small clubs as usual.  He told them I'm an artist and i always will be, but what will you be when your 40 or 50?  You will be long forgotten with a few CD's floating around. You may be able to play the old songs, but will you still be able to hear it?  Everyone understands that you don't want to be a sellout, but at some point you need to listen to what is getting radio airplay and how can you tweak your style just to get a taste of it.  To sum it all up my friend is,still and will be an artist, but if the band took his advice they could maybe be huge.

Last night was the first night that people were allowed to photograph the goings on behind the club door of Ground Zero in Minneapolis.  It was a Special Event called the Forbidden Bazaar, which they do every 2 or three months on a Friday night.  They had Performance Artist of all kinds.

 They also had artists that like to create what is called Dark Art.  Something that is to make you as a viewer feel some what uncomfortable.

A great time was had by all as I didn't see anyone getting kicked out.  JVG Graphics had a lot of masks if your looking for something just a little be creepier for Halloween.

Rum River BMX

If you are not aware Rum River BMX has been closed since August.  They have been closed because they are going inside.  They will be the largest Indoor facility in Minnesota when complete early next year.  here is a link to there YouTube Channel. http://ow.ly/CSRLB
